The Elektor T-962 V2.0

The Elektor T-962 reflow oven is an upgraded version of the well-known Puhui T962, addressing several of its original shortcomings while remaining compact and cost-effective. With a footprint of 31 × 26 cm and a usable internal area of 23 × 18 cm (height limited to 2 cm), it is well suited for most small-scale SMT soldering projects. Among the enhancements provided in this Elektor version: a serial port that enables users to upload custom reflow profiles, which is especially handy when fine-tuning for different solder pastes or board layouts.

What's Inside?

Inside the box, you'll find the oven, a USB stick containing the manual, communication software, and an Excel-based profile editor. The oven offers eight reflow profiles, six fixed and two fully customizable. Uploading profiles requires a Windows PC and a serial interface, either native or via a USB-to-RS232 adapter. The included spreadsheet allows editing temperature profiles directly and generates the corresponding command strings for easy transfer to the oven using the SerialCom tool.
